Charming Ambiance with Room for Improvement
The grounds are absolutely stunning, featuring beautifully maintained gardens that create a tranquil atmosphere. I appreciated the outdoor dining option, although it would be nice to have restaurant access without restrictions. For future guests, request a room away from the noise of conference activities.

The location was beautiful and peaceful.
My experience at check-in was terrible. They tried giving me the wrong type of room, which was dark and small compared to what I booked. Despite a seemingly amiable staff member trying to help, I was still disappointed that I had to argue about the size and amenities.

The gardens at the hotel were absolutely stunning, bringing back memories from years ago. The spacious room we had was clean and perfect for our family, including my aunt, and the breakfast was definitely worth the extra charge.
My kids wished there were more interactive activities for children.

I can’t stress enough how big those gardens were. Just beautiful! And the staff, yeah, they were super attentive, like they really cared about what we needed. My kids loved the buffet breakfast too. it was like a feast every morning.

The gardens surrounding the hotel provide a stunning and quiet oasis that is perfect for relaxing. Rooms feature spacious layouts with comfortable furnishings, and there’s a nice patio with views for some fresh air.
Check-in was a frustrating ordeal due to multiple payment issues that should've been sorted out prior to arrival. Upon finally getting settled, the King Suite with Terrace had major wear, including tattered curtains and a balcony door that barely sealed, causing unnecessary humidity inside. The shower drain clogged during use, leading to an inconvenient maintenance call. The spa services were located off-site, five blocks away with no available transport, which was a hassle. Plus, there were some lingering odors in the bathroom from the drainage system that detracted from the overall experience.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
